Our national handball team has completed its preparations to participate in the Arab tournament, which will start next Wednesday 5-7-2023 in five Algerian cities, including the city of Oran, which will be the stage for handball competitions. Professor Kazem Kamel, a member of the game union and head of the delegation, said that our players underwent their last training session this evening in the hall of the Karkh Sports Club, and the delegation will head to the Turkish city of Istanbul at dawn on Tuesday, from where they will travel to Algeria and then head to the city of Oran, which will host the handball competition in the Arab tournament. Kazem also explained that the game union hopes that this Iraqi participation will be positive despite the late preparations that the game union cannot bear, but it is counted on to serve the most important preparation, which is the preparation for the Asian Games that will be held in China next September.
